The 2013 Provincial Teams will train and compete for the following events:
Canada Games - U17 Juveniles
Men – August 2 - 9, 2013 in Sherbrooke, QC
Women – August 11 - August 17, 2013 in Sherbrooke, QC
In addition to competing at the Canada Summer Games in Quebec, the U17 Juvenile women’s team will also have the opportunity to travel to Seoul, South Korea to participate in a basketball exchange program from May 15 – 24, 2013.
Canada Basketball National Championships – U15 Midgets
Boys and Girls – August 4 – 11, 2013 in St. John's, NL
2013 Western Canadian Cadets Championship – 16U Cadets
Boys and Girls – August 1 – 3, 2013 in Regina, SK
New to Team Alberta programming this year is the U14 Provincial team. This is the first year Basketball Alberta has offered a team for this age group and we are excited about adding yet another program to provide an opportunity for player development.
