The Provincial team action continued over this past weekend:
U14 Boys/Girls
The U14 boys and girls wrapped up their seasons over the weekend with the Liberty Lake tournament in Washington. The girls finished 2-2 before heading into the playoffs where they battled hard, including a nail biting 2pt OT loss, against older age group opponents and persistent zone coverage. The U14 boys also were in some fierce battles over the weekend and ultimately were able to win their age division.
What a great final weekend of action for the U14 program in it's first year; next up for the U14 age group will be next summer's Alberta Summer Games, congratulations to both the players and coaches for a great summer of development and competition!!
U17/U16 Boys
Both our U17 and U16 boys were in Las Vegas over the weekend competing in the Adidas 64 and Bigfoot Hoops tournaments. Facing intense competition, and contrasting FIBA/AAU styles both teams battled hard and finished 4th in their play.
The U16 boys season concluded with this past weekend, congratulations to both the players and coaches for a great summer of development and competition!
Next up for the U17 boys is the Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, QC.
